Eve University Each year in mid December, is celebrated in Salamanca a curious party that, as usual, has the university of the city as protagonists. New Year's Eve University is already a little tradition in the life of every university to study in Salamanca, and is a New Year ahead.

The Route of the Frontier Forts, was created in 1999 by the Heritage Foundation of Castile and Leon. In this route contains all bastioned defense systems in the area since pre-Roman times until the latter eighteenth century.

On this route we can see different classes of historical interpretation in the various nuclei that compose: Ciudad Rodrigo, Aldea del Obispo, Yecla de Yeltes and St. Felicien of Gallegos, of the Spanish, and Almeida, the Portuguese side.

Calle Toro Leaving the Plaza Mayor and in the heart of the city, is the Calle Toro, which is the street "shopping" with the most traditional of the city.
